| Adam ﷺ (البقرة 2:37) | فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَـٰتٍۢ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ | پس آدم نے اپنے رب سے چند کلمات سیکھے، پھر اللہ نے اس کی توبہ قبول کر لی، بے شک وہ بڑا توبہ قبول کرنے والا رحم والا ہے۔ | Then Adam received words from his Lord, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, He is the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful. | Entonces Adán recibió palabras de su Señor, y Él aceptó su arrepentimiento. En verdad, Él es el Aceptador del Arrepentimiento, el Misericordioso. | Adam and Ḥawwāʾ ate from the forbidden tree, realized their mistake, repented, and Allah forgave and guided them. |
| Noah ﷺ (نوح 71:28) | رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِىَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ | اے میرے رب! مجھے، میرے والدین کو، اور جو میرے گھر میں ایمان لایا، سب مومن مرد و عورتوں کو بخش دے۔ | “My Lord, forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women.” | “Señor mío, perdóname, a mis padres, y a quien entre en mi casa creyente, y a todos los creyentes y las creyentes.” | After years of preaching, Nūḥ prayed for forgiveness for all believers, showing mercy and endurance. |
| Moses ﷺ (القصص 28:16) | قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى فَٱغْفِرْ لِى فَغَفَرَ لَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ | اس نے کہا: “اے میرے رب! میں نے اپنے نفس پر ظلم کیا، پس مجھے بخش دے۔” تو اللہ نے اسے بخش دیا، بے شک وہی بخشنے والا رحم والا ہے۔ | He said, “My Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.” So He forgave him. Indeed, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful. | Dijo: “Señor mío, me hice injusticia a mí mismo; perdóname.” Así que lo perdonó. En verdad, Él es el Perdonador, el Misericordioso. | Musa accidentally killed a man, sought forgiveness, and Allah forgave and strengthened him as a prophet. |
| David ﷺ (ص 38:24–25) | فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًۭا وَأَنَابَ فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ | پھر اس نے اپنے رب سے بخشش مانگی، سجدے میں گر پڑا اور توبہ کی۔ تو ہم نے اسے معاف کر دیا، اور بے شک اس کے لیے ہمارے پاس قربت اور اچھا ٹھکانہ ہے۔ | He sought forgiveness of his Lord, fell in bowing, and turned in repentance. So We forgave him. For him is nearness to Us and a good return. | Pidió perdón a su Señor, cayó en postración y se arrepintió. Así que le perdonamos eso; para él hay cercanía y un buen regreso. | David reflected on justice, realized his error, repented, and Allah forgave and elevated him as a king and prophet. |
| Jonah ﷺ (الأنبياء 21:87–88) | فَنَادَىٰ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ أَن لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُۥ وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّۚ | اُس نے اندھیروں میں پکارا: “لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ، تُسْبَحانَكَ، بے شک میں ظالموں میں سے تھا۔” تو ہم نے اس کی دعا قبول کی اور اسے نجات دی۔ | He cried in the darkness: “There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I was of the wrongdoers.” So We responded to him and saved him from distress. | Clamó en la oscuridad: “No hay más dios que Tú; glorificado seas. Fui de los injustos.” Y lo salvamos de la angustia. | Jonah left his mission early, was swallowed by a whale, repented sincerely, and Allah forgave him. |
| Solomon ﷺ (ص 35:35) | قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ | اس نے کہا: “اے میرے رب! مجھے بخش دے اور ایسی بادشاہی عطا فرما جو کسی کے بعد نہ ہو، بے شک تو بخشنے والا ہے۔” | He said, “My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me; indeed, You are the Bestower.” | Dijo: “Señor mío, perdóname y concédeme un reino que nadie después de mí posea; en verdad, Tú eres el Dador.” | Solomon acknowledged Allah, sought forgiveness, and was granted unparalleled wisdom and kingdom. |
| Muhammad ﷺ (Al-Fath 48:2) | لِيُغْفِرَ لَكُمُ اللَّهُ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُمَكِّنَكُمْ | تاکہ اللہ تمہارے گناہ معاف کرے اور تمہیں مضبوط کرے۔ | That Allah may forgive your sins and make you firm. | Para que Dios perdone tus pecados y te haga fuerte. | Muhammad ﷺ received revelation, sought Allah’s guidance and forgiveness, and was elevated as the Seal of the Prophets. |
