| Al-Baqarah 2:41 | وَآمِنُوا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُونُوا أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ بِهِ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا وَإِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُونِ | And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve it. And do not exchange My verses for a small price. And fear only Me. | اور اس چیز پر ایمان لاؤ جو میں نے نازل کی ہے جو اس کی تصدیق کرتی ہے جو تمہارے پاس ہے، اور اس کے منکر بننے والوں میں پہلے نہ بنو، اور میری آیات کو تھوڑی قیمت پر نہ بیچو، اور مجھ ہی سے ڈرتے رہو۔ | Creed en lo que he revelado, que confirma lo que ya tenéis, y no seáis los primeros en negarlo. Y no vendáis Mis signos por un precio miserable. Y temed sólo de Mí. |
| Al-Baqarah 2:79 | فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ يَكْتُبُونَ الْكِتَابَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُونَ هَٰذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ لِيَشْتَرُوا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لَهُمْ مِمَّا كَتَبَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَهُمْ مِمَّا يَكْسِبُونَ | So woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands then say, “This is from Allah,” in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn. | پس ہلاکت ہے ان کے لیے جو کتاب کو اپنے ہاتھوں سے لکھتے ہیں پھر کہتے ہیں کہ یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ہے تاکہ اس کے بدلے کچھ تھوڑی قیمت لے لیں۔ ان کے لیے ہلاکت ہے اس چیز کی وجہ سے جو ان کے ہاتھوں نے لکھی، اور ہلاکت ہے اس کمائی کی وجہ سے جو وہ کر رہے ہیں۔ | ¡Ay de aquellos que escriben la Escritura con sus propias manos y luego dicen: “Esto proviene de Dios”, para obtener con ello un precio miserable! ¡Ay de ellos por lo que han escrito sus manos y por lo que ganan! |
| Al-Baqarah 2:174 | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَشْتَرُونَ بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ إِلَّا النَّارَ ۖ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | Indeed, those who conceal what Allah has revealed of the Scripture and exchange it for a small price — they consume nothing but fire in their bellies. Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection nor purify them, and they will have a painful punishment. | بے شک جو لوگ اس کتاب میں سے وہ چیز چھپاتے ہیں جو اللہ نے نازل کی ہے اور اس کے بدلے تھوڑی قیمت لے لیتے ہیں، وہ اپنے پیٹ میں آگ ہی بھر رہے ہیں۔ قیامت کے دن اللہ نہ ان سے بات کرے گا اور نہ انہیں پاک کرے گا، اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے۔ | Quienes ocultan lo que Dios ha revelado del Libro y lo venden por un precio miserable, no comen sino fuego en sus entrañas. Dios no les hablará el Día de la Resurrección ni los purificará. Tendrán un castigo doloroso. |
