QUR’AN VERSES ABOUT GRAVES

The first verse confirms that people visit graves, but it does not command or forbid it.

At-Takathur 102:1–2	أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ۝ حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ	“Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you, until you visit the graves.”	ایک دوسرے پر فخر اور زیادہ کی طلب نے تمہیں غافل رکھا، یہاں تک کہ تم قبروں کی زیارت کو پہنچ گئے۔	“La competencia por la acumulación os distrae, hasta que visitáis las tumbas.”
Al-Infitar 82:4	وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ	“And when the graves are overturned.”	اور جب قبریں الٹ پلٹ کر دی جائیں گی۔	“Y cuando las tumbas sean volcadas.”
Al-Qamar 54:7	خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ	“Their eyes humbled, they will come out of the graves like scattered locusts.”	جھکی نظریں لیے وہ قبروں سے نکلیں گے گویا منتشر ٹڈیاں ہوں۔	“Con los ojos abatidos, saldrán de las tumbas como langostas dispersas.”
Ya-Sin 36:51	وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ	“The Trumpet will be blown, and they will come out of the graves quickly toward their Lord.”	صور پھونکا جائے گا اور وہ قبروں سے دوڑتے ہوئے اپنے رب کی طرف نکل آئیں گے۔	“Se soplará la Trompeta y saldrán rápidamente de las tumbas hacia su Señor.”
Al-Ma’arij 70:43	يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ	“The day they will come out of their graves quickly, as if rushing to a target.”	جس دن وہ قبروں سے جلدی جلدی نکلیں گے گویا کسی نشانے کی طرف دوڑ رہے ہوں۔	“El día en que salgan rápidamente de las tumbas, como si corrieran hacia un objetivo.”
Al-Hajj 22:7	وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَن فِي الْقُبُورِ	“And indeed, the Hour is coming—there is no doubt—and Allah will resurrect those in the graves.”	اور بے شک قیامت آنے والی ہے، اس میں کوئی شک نہیں، اور اللہ ان سب کو زندہ کرے گا جو قبروں میں ہیں۔	“La Hora llegará, sin duda, y Allah resucitará a los que están en las tumbas.”
Abasa 80:22	ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُ فَأَقْبَرَهُ	“Then He caused him to die and placed him in a grave.”	پھر اس نے اسے موت دی اور قبر میں رکھا۔	“Luego le causó la muerte y lo enterró.”
