| Al-Isrā’ 17:23–24 |
وَقَضَىٰ رَبُّكَ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ
وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا ۚ
إِمَّا يَبْلُغَنَّ عِندَكَ الْكِبَرَ أَحَدُهُمَا أَوْ كِلَاهُمَا
فَلَا تَقُل لَّهُمَا أُفٍّ وَلَا تَنْهَرْهُمَا
وَقُل لَّهُمَا قَوْلًا كَرِيمًا
وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ
وَقُل رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
|
Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and be kind to parents. If one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them even “uff,” nor repel them, but speak to them graciously. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they raised me when I was small.”

اور تمہارے رب نے حکم دیا ہے کہ اس کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو اور والدین کے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کرو۔ اگر ان میں سے ایک یا دونوں تمہارے پاس بڑھاپے کو پہنچ جائیں تو انہیں اُف تک نہ کہو، نہ جھڑکو، بلکہ ان سے نرمی سے بات کرو۔ اور ان کے لیے عاجزی کا بازو جھکا دو اور کہو: اے میرے رب! ان پر رحم فرما جیسے انہوں نے بچپن میں میری پرورش کی۔

Tu Señor ha ordenado que no adoréis sino a Él y que seáis buenos con vuestros padres. Si uno de ellos o ambos llegan a la vejez contigo, no les digas ni siquiera “uf”, ni los rechaces, sino háblales con respeto. Y baja ante ellos el ala de la humildad por misericordia y di: “¡Señor mío! Ten misericordia de ellos como ellos me criaron cuando era pequeño”.

| Luqmān 31:14 |
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ
حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ
وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ
أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ
إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
|
And We have enjoined upon man concerning his parents. His mother carried him, increasing her in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the final return.

اور ہم نے انسان کو اس کے والدین کے بارے میں نصیحت کی ہے۔ اس کی ماں نے کمزوری پر کمزوری اٹھا کر اسے حمل میں رکھا اور اس کا دودھ چھڑانا دو برس میں ہے۔ میرا اور اپنے والدین کا شکر ادا کرو، میری ہی طرف لوٹنا ہے۔

Hemos ordenado al ser humano que sea bueno con sus padres. Su madre lo llevó con debilidad tras debilidad y su destete es a los dos años. Agradecedme a Mí y a vuestros padres; a Mí es el retorno.

| Al-Ahqāf 46:15 |
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا ۖ
حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا
وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا
|
And We have enjoined upon man kindness to his parents. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship; and his gestation and weaning are thirty months.
|
اور ہم نے انسان کو اپنے والدین کے ساتھ نیکی کرنے کی تاکید کی ہے۔ اس کی ماں نے اسے مشقت کے ساتھ اٹھایا اور مشقت کے ساتھ جنا، اور اس کا حمل اور دودھ چھڑانا تیس مہینے ہیں۔

Hemos ordenado al ser humano que trate bien a sus padres. Su madre lo llevó con dificultad y lo dio a luz con dificultad; y su gestación y destete duran treinta meses.
