وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ… حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا ۖ وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا (46:15) | His mother bore him with hardship; pregnancy + weaning = 30 months. | اس کی ماں نے اسے تکلیف سے اٹھایا اور جنا، اور حمل اور دودھ چھڑانے کی مدت تیس ماہ ہے۔ | Su madre lo llevó con dificultad… y su gestación y destete son treinta meses. |
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ… حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ (31:14) | His mother carried him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. | اس کی ماں نے اسے کمزوری پر کمزوری کے ساتھ اٹھایا، اور اس کا دودھ چھڑانا دو سال میں ہے۔ | Su madre lo llevó con debilidad… y su destete es en dos años. |

فَإِنْ أَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَآتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ (65:6) | If they breastfeed for you, then give them their payment. | اگر وہ تمہارے لیے دودھ پلائیں تو انہیں اجرت دو۔ | Si amamantan por vosotros, dadles su pago. |
لَا تُضَارَّ وَالِدَةٌ بِوَلَدِهَا وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ لَّهُ بِوَلَدِهِ (2:233) | No mother should be harmed because of her child, nor father because of his child. | نہ ماں کو نقصان پہنچایا جائے بچے کی وجہ سے، نہ باپ کو۔ | Que ni la madre ni el padre sufran perjuicio por el hijo. |
