| Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:51) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ |
O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. |
اے ایمان والو! یہود اور نصاریٰ کو دوست نہ بناؤ۔ وہ ایک دوسرے کے دوست ہیں۔ |
¡Oh vosotros que habéis creído! No toméis a los judíos y a los cristianos como amigos. Son amigos unos de otros. |
| Surah Al-Furqan (25:27-28) |
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا يَا وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا |
And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, “Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.” |
اور جس دن ظالم اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ کاٹ کر کہے گا، “کاش میں نے رسول کے ساتھ راستہ اختیار کیا ہوتا۔ ہائے افسوس! کاش میں نے فلاں کو دوست نہ بنایا ہوتا۔” |
El día en que el malhechor se muerda las manos [de arrepentimiento], dirá: “¡Ojalá hubiera tomado el camino con el Mensajero! ¡Ay de mí! Ojalá no hubiera tomado a esa persona como amigo.” |
| Surah Az-Zukhruf (43:67) |
الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ |
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous. |
اس دن دوست آپس میں دشمن بن جائیں گے، سوائے متقیوں کے۔ |
En ese día, los mejores amigos serán enemigos unos de otros, excepto los piadosos. |
| Surah At-Tawbah (9:23) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا آبَاءَكُمْ وَإِخْوَانَكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ إِنِ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْكُفْرَ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ |
O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over faith. |
اے ایمان والو! اگر تمہارے باپ اور بھائی کفر کو ایمان پر ترجیح دیں تو انہیں دوست نہ بناؤ۔ |
¡Oh vosotros que habéis creído! No toméis a vuestros padres o hermanos como amigos si prefieren la incredulidad sobre la fe. |
| Surah Al-Hashr (59:9) |
وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ |
And they give [preference] over themselves, even though they are in privation. |
اور وہ اپنی ضرورت کے باوجود دوسروں کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں۔ |
Y ellos prefieren [a otros] por encima de sí mismos, aunque se encuentren en privación. |
| Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60:1) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِم بِالْمَوَدَّةِ |
O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection. |
اے ایمان والو! میرے اور تمہارے دشمنوں کو دوست نہ بناؤ، تم ان سے محبت جتاتے ہو۔ |
¡Oh vosotros que habéis creído! No toméis a mis enemigos y a vuestros enemigos como amigos, mostrando afecto hacia ellos. |
| Surah An-Nisa (4:144) |
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. |
اے ایمان والو! مومنوں کو چھوڑ کر کافروں کو دوست نہ بناؤ۔ |
¡Oh vosotros que habéis creído! No toméis a los incrédulos como amigos en lugar de los creyentes. |
| Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:55) |
إِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا |
Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed. |
تمہارا دوست تو بس اللہ، اس کا رسول اور ایمان والے ہیں۔ |
Tu amigo no es otro que Allah y, por lo tanto, Su Mensajero y los que han creído. |
