| Āl-ʿImrān 3:45 | إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ | [And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary – distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].” | اور جب فرشتوں نے کہا: اے مریم! بے شک اللہ تمہیں اپنی طرف سے ایک کلمہ کی خوشخبری دیتا ہے، اس کا نام مسیح عیسیٰ ابن مریم ہوگا، دنیا اور آخرت میں وجیہہ اور (اللہ کے) مقربین میں سے ہوگا۔ | Y cuando los ángeles dijeron: «¡Oh María! Alá te anuncia la buena nueva de una Palabra de Él: su nombre será el Mesías, Jesús hijo de María, eminente en esta vida y en la otra, y de los más cercanos [a Alá].» |
| An-Nisāʾ 4:157–158 | وَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـٰكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ ۚ مَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا • بَل رَّفَعَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا | And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but it was made to appear so to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. • Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. | اور ان کے اس قول کی وجہ سے کہ ہم نے مسیح عیسیٰ ابن مریم کو جو اللہ کا رسول تھا قتل کر ڈالا، حالانکہ نہ انہوں نے اسے قتل کیا اور نہ سولی پر چڑھایا بلکہ معاملہ ان پر مشتبہ کردیا گیا، اور جو لوگ اس کے بارے میں اختلاف کر رہے ہیں وہ اس کی حقیقت میں شک میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں۔ ان کے پاس کوئی علم نہیں، بس گمان کی پیروی ہے، اور یقیناً انہوں نے اسے قتل نہیں کیا۔ بلکہ اللہ نے اسے اپنی طرف اٹھا لیا، اور اللہ زبردست اور حکمت والا ہے۔ | Y por haber dicho: «Hemos matado al Mesías, Jesús hijo de María, el Mensajero de Alá». Pero no lo mataron ni lo crucificaron, sino que les pareció así. Y aquellos que discrepan sobre ello están en duda; no tienen conocimiento, sólo siguen conjeturas. Ciertamente no lo mataron. • Sino que Alá lo elevó hacia Sí. Y Alá es Poderoso, Sabio. |
| Maryam 19:30–33 | قَالَ إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ آتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا • وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا • وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا • وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا | [Jesus] said, “Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet. • And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive • And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant. • And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive.” | عیسیٰ نے کہا: میں اللہ کا بندہ ہوں، اس نے مجھے کتاب عطا کی اور مجھے نبی بنایا۔ • اور مجھے برکت والا بنایا جہاں بھی میں ہوں، اور جب تک زندہ ہوں مجھے نماز اور زکوٰۃ کی وصیت کی۔ • اور مجھے اپنی والدہ کے ساتھ نیک سلوک کرنے والا بنایا، اور مجھے سرکش بدبخت نہیں بنایا۔ • اور مجھ پر سلامتی ہے جس دن میں پیدا ہوا، جس دن میں مروں گا اور جس دن زندہ اٹھایا جاؤں گا۔ | Dijo [Jesús]: «Soy siervo de Alá; me ha dado la Escritura y me ha hecho Profeta. • Y me ha bendecido dondequiera que esté, y me ha ordenado la oración y la limosna mientras viva. • Y [me ha hecho] piadoso con mi madre, y no me ha hecho arrogante ni desgraciado. • Y la paz esté sobre mí el día que nací, el día que muera y el día que sea resucitado vivo.» |
