| Surah An-Nur 24:35 | ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍۢ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌۭ دُرِّىٌّۭ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍۢ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍۢ زَيْتُونَةٍۢ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍۢ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍۢ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌۭ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍۢ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ | اللہ آسمانوں اور زمین کا نور ہے، اس کے نور کی مثال ایسی ہے جیسے ایک طاق جس میں چراغ ہو، چراغ شیشے کے اندر ہو، شیشہ گویا چمکتا ہوا ستارہ ہو جو ایک مبارک درخت زیتون سے روشن کیا گیا ہو جو نہ مشرقی ہو نہ مغربی، جس کا تیل قریب ہے کہ روشنی دے اگرچہ اسے آگ نہ لگے، نور پر نور، اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے اپنے نور کی طرف ہدایت دیتا ہے، اور اللہ لوگوں کے لیے مثالیں بیان کرتا ہے، اور اللہ ہر چیز کا علم رکھنے والا ہے۔ | Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp; the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly [white] star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things. | Allah es la Luz de los cielos y la tierra. Su luz es como un nicho en el que hay una lámpara; la lámpara está dentro de un cristal, el cristal como una estrella brillante, encendida por el aceite de un árbol bendito, el olivo, que no es del oriente ni del occidente, cuyo aceite casi brilla aunque no lo toque el fuego. Luz sobre luz. Allah guía hacia Su luz a quien Él quiere. Allah presenta ejemplos para la gente, y Allah lo sabe todo. |
| Surah Al-Baqarah 2:257 | ٱللَّهُ وَلِىُّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُمُ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ ٱلنُّورِ إِلَى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ ۗ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ | اللہ ایمان والوں کا دوست ہے، وہ انہیں تاریکیوں سے نکال کر روشنی میں لے آتا ہے، اور کافر جن کے دوست شیطان ہیں، وہ انہیں روشنی سے نکال کر تاریکیوں میں ڈال دیتے ہیں، یہی لوگ دوزخ والے ہیں، وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ | Allah is the ally of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into the light. And those who disbelieve—their allies are the tyrants, who take them out of the light into darkness. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide eternally therein. | Allah es el aliado de los creyentes. Los saca de las tinieblas hacia la luz. Pero los incrédulos tienen como aliados a los tiranos, que los sacan de la luz hacia las tinieblas. Esos son los habitantes del Fuego, donde permanecerán eternamente. |
| Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:15-16 | يَـٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًۭا مِّمَّا كُنتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ وَيَعْفُوا۟ عَن كَثِيرٍۢ ۚ قَدْ جَآءَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ نُورٌۭ وَكِتَـٰبٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ (١٥) يَهْدِى بِهِ ٱللَّهُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ رِضْوَٰنَهُۥ سُبُلَ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ وَيُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ (١٦) | اے اہل کتاب! ہمارا رسول تمہارے پاس آچکا ہے جو تم سے کتاب کی بہت سی پوشیدہ باتیں کھول کر بیان کرتا ہے اور بہت سی باتوں سے درگزر کرتا ہے۔ تمہارے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے ایک نور اور ایک واضح کتاب آچکی ہے (١٥) اللہ اس کے ذریعے ان لوگوں کو جو اس کی رضا کے طالب ہیں سلامتی کے راستے دکھاتا ہے اور اپنے حکم سے انہیں تاریکیوں سے نکال کر روشنی میں لے آتا ہے اور انہیں سیدھے راستے کی طرف ہدایت دیتا ہے (١٦) | O People of the Scripture! There has come to you Our Messenger making clear to you much of what you used to conceal of the Scripture and overlooking much. There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book (15). By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darkness into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path (16). | ¡Oh Gente del Libro! Ha venido a vosotros Nuestro Mensajero aclarando mucho de lo que ocultabais del Libro y pasando por alto mucho. Os ha llegado de Allah una luz y un Libro claro (15). Con él Allah guía a quienes buscan Su complacencia por los caminos de la paz, los saca de las tinieblas hacia la luz con Su permiso y los guía hacia el sendero recto (16). |
| Surah Al-Ahzab 33:45-46 | يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ شَـٰهِدًۭا وَمُبَشِّرًۭا وَنَذِيرًۭا (٤٥) وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا (٤٦) | اے نبی! بے شک ہم نے تمہیں گواہ، خوشخبری دینے والا اور ڈرانے والا بنا کر بھیجا ہے (٤٥) اور اللہ کے حکم سے اس کی طرف بلانے والا اور روشن چراغ بنا کر (٤٦) | O Prophet! Indeed, We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of good tidings, and a warner (45). And as one who invites to Allah by His permission and an illuminating lamp (46). | ¡Oh Profeta! Te hemos enviado como testigo, portador de buenas nuevas y amonestador (45). Y como quien invita a Allah con Su permiso y como una lámpara luminosa (46). |

| 66:8 At-Tahrim | يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا ۚ عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِي اللَّهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ ۖ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَىٰ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | اے ایمان والو! اللہ کے حضور خالص توبہ کرو، امید ہے کہ تمہارا رب تمہاری برائیاں تم سے دور کر دے گا اور تمہیں ایسی جنتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی۔ اس دن اللہ نہ نبی کو رسوا کرے گا اور نہ ان لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائے، ان کا نور ان کے آگے اور دائیں جانب دوڑ رہا ہوگا، وہ کہیں گے: اے ہمارے رب! ہمارا نور مکمل کر دے اور ہمیں بخش دے، بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ | O you who believe! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance. It may be that your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right. They will say, “Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.” | ¡Oh, creyentes! Volveos a Alá con un arrepentimiento sincero. Puede que vuestro Señor borre vuestras malas acciones y os introduzca en jardines por los que corren ríos, el Día en que Alá no humillará al Profeta ni a los que creyeron con él. Su luz avanzará delante de ellos y a su derecha. Dirán: “¡Señor nuestro! Complétanos nuestra luz y perdónanos. En verdad, Tú tienes poder sobre todas las cosas.” |
| 64:8 At-Taghabun | فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ الَّذِي أَنزَلْنَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | پس اللہ پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کے رسول پر اور اس نور پر جو ہم نے نازل فرمایا ہے، اور اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب باخبر ہے۔ | So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Light which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. | Creed, pues, en Alá, en Su Mensajero y en la luz que hemos hecho descender. Alá está bien informado de lo que hacéis. |
