Qur’anic Ayat on Bees & Hives
The word النَّحْل (An-Nahl) means bees — it’s also the name of the surah. “بُيُوتًا (buyūtan)” = houses / hives. The verse highlights:

Research confirms honey has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Medical-grade honey (like Manuka) is used in clinical settings for burns and infections, matching the Qur’anic statement: “in it is healing for people.”
3. Hive Engineering & Environmental Optimization
Beehives are built using hexagonal honeycomb structures, which are mathematically optimal for maximizing storage while minimizing material use. Bees also choose locations (mountains, trees, man-made structures) that regulate temperature and protect the colony—exactly as described in the verse.

16:69 | ثُمَّ كُلِي مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ فَاسْلُكِي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِن بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ فِيهِ شِفَاءٌ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ | Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]. There emerges from their bellies a drink of varying colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for people who reflect. | پھر ہر قسم کے پھلوں سے کھا اور اپنے رب کے آسان راستوں پر چل۔ اس کے پیٹوں سے ایک مشروب نکلتا ہے جس کے مختلف رنگ ہیں، اس میں لوگوں کے لیے شفا ہے۔ بے شک اس میں غور کرنے والوں کے لیے نشانی ہے | Luego come de todos los frutos y sigue los caminos de tu Señor facilitados.
